The Youth and Justice Workshop (formerly the Youth Safety Workshop) is a community event at which youth engage in meaningful conversations about their rights and responsibilities, empowering them to become the future leaders of our community. The sessions are in small working groups with teams of African-American police officers, lawyers, judges, law students, graduate students, and fraternity and sorority members.

The Youth and Justice Workshop is sponsored by the LVNBA together with Assemblywoman Dina Neal, National Black Police Association, Nevada Chapter, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Beta Club, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Kappa Xi Chapter), Omega Gents, UNLV Black Law Students Association, UNLV Black Graduate Students Association, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Las Vegas, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Men & Divas of Tomorrow, and Delta Sigma Theta (Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter).
