The Membership is responsible for recruitment and retention of members, planning and organizing member events, and overseeing nominations and elections. This includes developing and organizing recruitment and retention initiatives, for example, membership campaigns, special membership categories, and membership benefits. The Membership Committee is also responsible for planning Continuing Legal Education programs.

LVNBA/BALSA Mentor-Mentee Mixer, a joint event with the UNLV Boyd Law School Black Law Students Association at the William S. Boyd School of Law, April 8, 2010.
Membership & Mentorship Mixer at Gordon Biersch, September 25, 2010. Members of the bar, judiciary, and law students attended the mixer. Law student mentees had the opportunity to connect with their attorney mentors for the first time. The purpose of the mentee/mentor relationship is to enable law students benefit from the expertise of seasoned attorneys and foster relationships that will contribute to the law student’s ability to become a successful attorney.
