The Las Vegas Chapter of the National Bar Association (LVNBA) congratulates Professor Rachel Anderson on her election to the National Bar Association Board of Governors as a Member at Large at the 89th Annual Convention of the National Bar Association (National Bar), July 25 – August 1, 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Professor Anderson is currently President of the LVNBA and has a history of service within the National Bar at the local, regional, and national levels. She first became involved with the National Bar as a student and member of the Law Students of African Descent, the U.C. Berkeley Black Law Student’s Association (BLSA), and Fundraising Director of the of the Western Region of National BLSA. Professor Anderson currently serves on the National Bar’s Judicial Selection Committee and as a Vice Chair of the Law Professors Division.  She has also served on the National Bar Membership Committee and co-organized the First-Time Attendees Workshop at the 2013 Annual Convention.

Professor Anderson teaches Business Organization, International Business Transactions, and Consumer law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law.
