The LVNBA participated in Halloween Safe Night at the Dr. William U. Pearson Community Center in North Las Vegas on October 31, 2013. Halloween Safe Night is an annual event organized by KCEP 88.1 FM. This event is for all ages and allows families to have a safe and fun Halloween.
Over 200 children and their families safely trick-or-treated at the Pearson Center. The LVNBA gave away over 20 pounds of candy to the children together with information about the Youth Safety Workshop as well as other informational material. This year’s Halloween Safe Night was so successful that the event went past the scheduled time with candy still left to donate. The event included vendor booths, food, and a haunted house.
LVNBA members Amber White-Davidson, Cybill Dotson, and Vice President Karl Riley participated on behalf of the LVNBA. The candy was donated by LVNBA members Cybill Dotson and Vice President Karl Riley.
