Several people made remarks including Chief Justice Nancy Saitta, Justice Michael Douglas (LVNBA Past President 1987-1989), LVNBA President Doreen Spears Hartwell, State Bar of Nevada President Constance Akridge, and the co-chairs of the steering committee for the Black History Month issue LVNBA Vice President Professor Rachel Anderson and past President of the State Bar of Nevada and LVNBA Member Kathleen England.
