Nevada Lawyer February 2012

The 2012 Black History Month issue of the Nevada Lawyer magazine celebrates the contributions of African-American lawyers in Nevada against the backdrop of the civil rights movement on a state level and a national level. This historic issue celebrates successes and achievements while also aknowledging wrongs and injustices with which our society is still coming to grips.

The Nevada Lawyer is the official publication of the State Bar of Nevada, has a circulation of approximately 10,000, and is sent to all Nevada judges and attorneys admitted to practice law in Nevada.

The Las Vegas Chapter of the National Bar Association (LNVBA), the authors, and others who worked on the project were awarded the  State Bar Medal of Justice for the 2012 Black History Month issue of the Nevada Lawyer.
